Take My Hand EP

by DDRKirby(ISQ)

Chasing after you Wherever your heart may lie All my dreams are blue And I don't know why I try Holding on Please be strong Holding on Please don't cry Falling after you There's nothing that I can do All my dreams came true So why is this pain still here This feeling that lies in my heart Will always remind me of you I don't want to lose you again So take my hand This feeling that lies in my heart Will always remind me of you I don't want to lose you again So please take my hand
Follow Me 04:26

These three old-school trance tracks were originally created roughly 5 years ago but have never seen the light of day. I finally got around to fixing them up, remastering them, and giving them a proper release.

"Take My Hand" was created as a final project for a mixing and recording class that I took. 宋本真 graciously offered to do vocals for the track and I was really happy with the result (despite my lyrics being totally cheesy), but I kept putting off its official release due to not being quite satisfied with the way that it was mixed and mastered. I'm now armed with a lot more experience on how to make tracks fit together, so I took another stab at it and am finally ready to call it done!

"Follow Me" is another trance track from a bygone era, before I discovered and innovated my trademark "9-bit" sound. Not many people know this, but I actually enjoy trance music a lot and spent some years in the past trying to produce tracks more along these veins.

"Arctic Circle" is yet another old-school trance song that was left unfinished for ages before I finally closed it out and gave it a proper ending. This one was heavily inspired by Nitrous Oxide, one of my favorite uplifting trance artists, and bears a lot of resemblance to "Nitrous Oxide - North Pole", which I think was my all-time favorite trance tune at the time.

I've got a lot more random unreleased material that I'm hoping to put out in the future, but for now, enjoy this blast from the past!
